Founders
Alien emerged from a long-established collaboration.
Sharing common values and vision for the future, the founders have been working together on innovative projects, sharing common values and complementary skills. The founders have been working at the crossroads of business, law, the art world and emergent technologies.
Leo Blondel
head of Lab
Researcher in computational biology, Leo obtained his Ms at the ENS and PhD at Harvard, working on large scale super computing projects, AI expert systems. His research continued at the LPI in the field of Virtual Reality and AI agents as analytics and creativity maximizers for complex systems. Dissatisfied with the ivory tower of academia he built the largest citizen science platform, bringing innovative ideas through collaboration.
Alexandre Cadain
CEO
A graduate from HEC Paris and ENS Ulm, Alexandre Cadain is a serial entrepreneur in technology and impact. Among his latest ventures, World Game leverages collective and artificial intelligence in games to crowdsource solutions for the real world. Previously, he worked at Hyperloop TT and the XPRIZE Foundation. Alexandre has been a member of the AI FOR GOOD commission at the United Nations since 2017. He co-initiated the Post-Digital research seminar at ENS Ulm and is currently a professor of Economic Futures at HEC Paris.
Charlotte Heylliard
COO
IT&AI CIPP/E certified Lawyer at the Paris. Charlotte has worked in specialist law firms as a consultant. She then joined Salesforce in its French market penetration phase to apply her skills to the business. She then joined Google France. In parallel, Charlotte contributed to the AI Commons - collaborating with Alexandre.
Primavera de Filippi
Head of Club
Research director at CNRS and Faculty Associate at Harvard. After obtaining her PhD on digital copyright law, Primavera has been researching the legal challenges of blockchain technology, web3 and AI. Primavera was founding member of the Future Council on Blockchain Technology at the World Economic Forum and co-founder of the web3 company Backfeed. She is the author of the book “Blockchain & the Law” published by Harvard University Press.
